Organic Feed for Pets

Here's a quick walk through for making organic feed.  This feed will satisfy a pet's hunger by 70 so it's ideal to use when you need to have 4 pets out for an extended period of time.

Note:  You need to have Apprentice Level 6 in Cooking to make Organic Feed

Some prep work should be done in advance in order to make this.  First off, you should either make or buy (if it's available on the Marketplace) some Oatmeal.  You'll need 2 of these per feed.

These are the ingredients I use for making Oatmeal:

9x Wheat Flour
3x Milk
3x Onion (who puts onions in Oatmeal?)
2x Cooking Honey

Second, you'll want to get either fresh fish by fishing or buying dried fish off the market.  If you go with fresh fish the quantities depend on the catch.  1 green fish or 2 white fish.  If they are dried fish the quantities double so 2 green fish and 4 white fish.  I prefer using the dried fish so I don't have to wait to catch the right amount of fish needed.  I've tried making this with one blue fish and it failed so don't try it.

Third, you'll want to collect red meat of some type so make sure to equip a Butcher Knife.  The easiest meats to get are from weasels around Velia or pigs around Western Guard Camp.  I generally use +2 gathering clothes and a Balenos meal to reduce the amount of time needed to gather the meat.

Now, with all ingredients we can use our Cooking Utensil in one of our residences and make the feed.  To recap, here's the ingredients and quantities needed:

5x Red Meat
4x Chicken Meat (Yay!!! I can finally use this for something.)
2x Oatmeal
1x green fish or 2x white fish (fresh) -- or -- 2x dried green fish or 4x dried white fish

And if everything worked as it should have you'll end up with this:

Hope you find this useful and happy gaming!!!
